  1. It must be a story which makes me willingly suspend my logical thinking and go with whatever the writer is telling me. It could be fantasy or a hard-boiled mystery, but I have to BELIEVE it could happen just as the writer described it. If it is so far removed from my own mundane life, so much the better.

  2. I wonder if that was Patricia Grayson who made that comment. I agree with her, though. In any case, I feel inspired to go back to reading Me Before You, which is about a girl taking care of a quadriplegic.
